Nice little place. Had jacket potato soup and a panini. The panini didn't have much filling so I'm taking a point off.

We were given a nice table in the window which was dressed up nicely for afternoon tea. They do tea or coffee (including decaff which is what I drink) & also allowed us to drink our own non-alcoholic fizz. The sandwich fillings were nice & you also got salad, crisps, potato salad & sausage roll so it was a good variety. The cakes & sweet treats were particularly yummy. We had a lovely hour or so in here & would have stayed longer but we were limited by parking times.

Pleasant lunch on a very cold day. Cafe was very quiet but had some lovely food- great value just £6.50 for the pork and stuffing roll which was jam packed with filling. The menu is of good size and there was also a section of freshly baked cakes and scones. The shop has a boutique shop section too where you can buy some nice gifts and also furniture paint if desired. Overall nice and interesting place for a meal.

What a delightful little place! A lovely traditional tea room with a warm and hearty feel. Food was lovely, staff were attentive and always smiling and the food options were plenty; it was so hard to choose! and that’s before you see the cake and scone options! A lovely afternoon in all, and we will definitely return on my next visit home. A special thanks to Rebecca too for looking after us. Excellent all round. Well done.

I've just had the pleasure of dining at Joanne's Tea Room. I have walked past this little gem so many times but today I've enjoyed the muffin special with scrambled eggs (light and fluffy), mushrooms (golden and fresh) and salad garnish (crisp and good variety of salad). For pud it's been a big wedge of Biscoff cake. My dining partner had a massive cheesy 3 egg omelette that was beautifully prepared, bags of cheese and had fresh cherry tomatoes, followed by Victoria sponge. I was lucky and grateful to sample all of that too All washed down with Yorkshire tea. Everything has tasted yummy, smashing presentation, all staff are friendly and very attentive and everywhere is clean and tidy. Can't fault it and will be back again.
